An honorable offshore scattering of your loved one's cremated remains.

Ashes scattering services or burials at sea have been a long time honored display of respect for departed loved ones. In keeping with this tradition, we accommodate all faiths and religions with personalized attention and provide caring and dignified ashes scattering services of your loved one's remains to the sea.

We will travel out past the required nautical mile distance where the memorial ceremony will take place. During an attended memorial service, your loved one’s cremated remains are either sprinkled or set adrift using a biodegradable cremation urn. This part of the service is typically preformed by a family member or Captain Al Manica. Each service includes an official sea burial/ashes scattering certificate marking the offshore coordinates of your loved one's final resting place. If requested, an eight bell end of watch blessing ceremony can be performed by Captain Manica while at the memorial site.

Burial at Sea Charters will give you personalized attention and provide caring and dignified ashes scattering services of your loved ones remains to the sea.
